Small town nature reserve of woodland, wildflower meadow and a pond-dipping platform, off Abbott Way in south-east Tenterden.
Kiln Field is a 4.5-acre nature reserve off Abbott Way, to the south-east of Tenterden and just south of Appledore Road. The land is owned by Ashford Borough Council and held by Tenterden Town Council on a lease to 2043. A former 1960s orchard, it is now a mix of woodland, scrub, wildflower meadow, a balancing pond with a pond-dipping platform and a stream, with footpaths for public access. Tenterden Town Council manages it with Kent Wildlife Trust and says the reserve is open to the public. No opening hours, price or postcode are published on the council’s page, so none are given here.
