The Harbour Arm is a long stone jetty that was reopened to the public after restoration (2014 per Visit Kent, 2015 per Folkestone Museum) and now holds food and drink traders, a lighthouse bar and regular events. The operator says it is open for promenading daily, with trader hours varying through the week. Dogs are welcome on a lead. Parking is on site and in nearby car parks at the standard tariff.
Most of the harbour is reachable by wheelchair or mobility scooter using ramps and slopes; the boardwalk is not recommended for them. Accessible toilets at Harbour Station, The Goods Yard and Platform 4.
