Rocksalt

Rocksalt is a restaurant and bar built out over Folkestone Harbour, with tall windows facing the English Channel. The kitchen cooks to a seasonal Kentish menu and says it buys fish from the local day boats and other produce from nearby suppliers. Diners can eat in the first-floor restaurant or the bar, and both have terraces for warmer weather. The same site has a garden and guest rooms, and the team takes bookings for private hire and sells gift vouchers. Rocksalt opened in 2011 and is part of a small group of Kent pubs and restaurants.
