The Ship & Trades is a Shepherd Neame pub with rooms on Maritime Way at Chatham Maritime, overlooking a yacht basin in the former Royal Navy dockyard. Its dockside bar serves local cask ales, wines and lagers, and the kitchen offers brunch each morning, pub classics, Sunday roasts and sharing dishes such as a roast feast for groups of four or more. There is waterfront seating with views across the River Medway towards Upnor Castle. Upstairs are 15 en-suite bedrooms, many with marina views, and dog-friendly rooms can be arranged in advance. It opens at 9am every day and sits close to Dockside and the marina.
