West Hythe
West Hythe is a settlement in the civil parish of Hythe, in the Folkestone and Hythe district of Kent. The ruins of the old church of St Mary stand at the foot of the escarpment, near the Royal Military Canal. Historic England lists the ruins at Grade II and also schedules the site, and the list entry says the 12th-century nave was lengthened in the 14th century and that the church burned down in 1620.
