Seabrook
Seabrook is a coastal village on the English Channel between Sandgate and Hythe, in the civil parish of Hythe. Construction of the Royal Military Canal, built as a defence against a possible Napoleonic invasion, began at Seabrook in 1804, and the stretch from Seabrook Lodge Bridge to Seabrook Sluice is a scheduled monument.
