Goudhurst
Goudhurst is a village and civil parish in the Weald, and the parish council serves Curtisden Green, Goudhurst and Kilndown. St Mary’s Church is Grade I listed: Kent’s heritage record dates the church to the 13th to 15th centuries, with the west tower rebuilt in 1638 to 1640, after lightning destroyed the old tower in 1637. Forestry England says Bedgebury National Pinetum, which has a Goudhurst address, was established in 1925.
