Dymchurch
Dymchurch is a village and civil parish on the Romney Marsh coast, in the Folkestone and Hythe district. The Church of St Peter and St Paul is listed at Grade II* and has 12th and 13th century fabric. Martello Tower No. 24, one of the small forts built between 1805 and 1808 against a possible French invasion, is on the High Street, and the Romney, Hythe and Dymchurch Railway has a station in the village. The Dr Syn novels by Russell Thorndike are set here.
