Chalk

Chalk is an area east of Gravesend, in the Gravesham district. Its parish church, the Church of St Mary on Church Lane, is Grade II* listed. Kent’s heritage record says the chancel may date from the late 11th century, the west tower is 15th century and the font may be 12th century.
