The Black Pig Butchers

The Black Pig is a traditional butcher in St George’s Passage, Deal, open since 2014. It sources free-range meat from small, rare breed farms in Kent and nearby, including Aberdeen Angus beef, South Downs lamb and mutton, Oxford Sandy and Black pork, poultry and game. The counter also stocks hand-made sausages, dry-cure bacon, black pudding and seasonal products made with local ingredients such as Kent apples and wild garlic. The shop runs butchery courses and takes Christmas orders. It is open Tuesday to Saturday and closed on Sundays and Mondays.
