Port Lympne is a 600-acre wild animal reserve near Hythe run in partnership with The Aspinall Foundation, a conservation charity. The reserve’s own site says it is home to over 900 animals across 75 species, with a 45-minute truck safari included in the day ticket, a Dinosaur Valley trail, 15 acres of landscaped gardens and several cafes and restaurants. The reserve’s 2026 booking page lists adult day tickets at £32.73 to £40.00 and child tickets at £26.36 to £32.50, depending on online or gate booking and standard or donation price, plus a £2.40 online booking fee. The reserve’s pages do not publish opening hours; the booking page still carries a closure notice dated 27 November 2025, so check dates before you travel. Port Lympne Illuminated, an after-dark festive event, is listed by a ticket seller from 27 November 2026 to 2 January 2027 (see the separate event listing).
Wheelchair and buggy routes, accessible toilets, restaurant and gift shop, an accessible safari truck, wheelchairs to hire and mobility scooters permitted.
