Stone
Stone is a village and civil parish in the Dartford district of Kent, about 1 mile from Swanscombe. The parish church of St Mary is Grade I listed (list entry 1085810). Kent’s heritage record says its core dates from the 13th century, with the tower added in the early 14th century, and that G E Street restored it around 1859 to 1860. Stone appears in the Domesday Book of 1086, held by the Bishop of Rochester.
