Rosherville
Rosherville is an area on the Thames in the Gravesham district, in the DA11 postcode area. Jeremiah Rosher began building a new town here in the 1830s and owned the chalk pit where Rosherville Gardens were laid out in 1837. Their Grade II listed cliff-top entrance, built of Pulhamite in 1869, with a staircase and a tunnel through the chalk cliff, survives.
