The Cardinal’s Error is a sixteenth century farmhouse on Lodge Oak Lane in Tonbridge, with low oak beams, quarry tile floors and a log fire. It has traded as a pub since 1946 and is now run by Pendry’s Pubs Ltd. A selection of real ales, lagers and ciders is on draught, and food is served from its own menu. Families are welcome, with a large garden and a children’s playground. The pub also takes function bookings. It opens at noon every day and closes at 11pm Sunday to Thursday and at midnight on Friday and Saturday.
