About The Test Centre
The Test Centre on Chaucer Close, Medway City Estate, is an MOT-only testing station, opened in December 2018 as one of a small group of centres in Kent and South East London. Because it does no repair work, drivers can take any failure items to a garage of their choice, and the test is only paid for when the vehicle passes. Bookings can be made online or as a walk-in, and early drop-off appointments are available. All vehicle types are tested, and there is a waiting room with free wifi. It is open seven days a week: 8am to 6pm on weekdays, 8am to 4pm on Saturdays and 8am to 3pm on Sundays.
